Cimonette has been engaged in development work for more than 20 years. She has experience in research and project management related to environmental conservation and climate change.

Since 2015, she has contributed to the fund management team of the Clean Energy Financing Partnership Facility (CEFPF), an ADB‑managed trust fund that promotes energy security and clean energy use in Asia and the Pacific. In her current role as consultant for the ADB Energy Sector Office, she supports CEFPF management, project implementation, and knowledge sharing. She also plays a key role in partner engagement, strengthening collaboration with donors and co‑financiers, and mobilizing resources to scale up clean energy investments across the region.

Cimonette is actively involved in the Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF), one of the region's largest platforms for knowledge exchange and partnership building in the energy sector. She contributes to partner coordination and knowledge dissemination, helping ACEF convene diverse stakeholders to accelerate clean energy transitions across Asia and the Pacific.
