Bio:
Jiwan Kumar Mallik received his Engineering Degree in Electrical from the Institute of Engineering, Nepal in 2006 and M.Tech. in Power Systems from IIT Delhi in 2011. He has over 10 years experience in Mini-Micro Hydropower (MHP), Large Solar PV, Grid Interconnection and Building Automation. He is currently working as Solar Power Expert in Renewable Energy for Rural Livelihood Programme under Alternative Energy Promotion Center. As the focal person for grid interconnection of MHP, he has been providing technical backstopping in developing control and protection system, formulating technical standards, coordinating with the utility and facilitating community engagement.
