Gloria is a civil engineer, and transport planner by training. She has led projects on energy efficiency, intelligent transport systems, public transport, and low carbon emission projects. She has also coordinated and produced knowledge products on sustainable infrastructure development in East Asia. She earned her PhD from Tohoku University, Japan.
Grace Yeneza is a pioneer and advocate of clean energy with over 30 years of working knowledge in the energy sector. Her concrete, on-the-ground involvements in all types of renewable energy gives her solid grasp of the success factors and pitfalls of renewable and clean energy project development. Her wide network among government and private energy stakeholders is valuable to any project/program implementation in the Philippines.
Ms. Yeneza founded and manages Preferred Energy, Inc., an NGO promoting clean and energy efficient solutions. Her professional experiences include: serving as Corporate Planning Director of the National Electrification Administration and policy/program advisor to the Philippine Department of Energy and Congressional Committee on Energy; working with bilateral and multilateral development institutions, i.e., USAID, UNDP, ADB, WB, IFC, JICA and GIZ, among others, and supporting private companies and electric cooperatives in implementing renewable and clean energy projects. Currently, she is a consultant of ADB’s Energy Sector Group under the Sector Advisory Cluster (SDSC-ENE) of the Sustainable Development and Climate Change (SDCC) Department.

Grimi is part of the Climate Finance Business Development Team (CFBDT) composed of four Regional Trade Commissioners (Manila, London, Abidjan, Washington DC) and Ottawa-based Climate Finance sector bureau. The CFBDT helps Canadian companies access financing for mitigation and adaptation projects in developing countries in sectors such as climate-smart agriculture, clean technologies, green infrastructure, among others.

Dr Gul Muhammad Khan is currently the Director of Center for Intelligent Systems and Networks Research (CISNR), and National Centre of AI(NCAI), the research centres he established and professor at Electrical Engineering Department UET Peshawar. He holds a PhD in intelligent System design from University of York, UK and is the pioneer of Cartesian Genetic Programming evolved Developmental network (CGPDN) providing an indirect method of decoding for neural programs.
He has introduced the concept of photo billing in Pakistan’s energy sector to cater for under/overbilling anomalies and provide an efficient and transparent mechanism for metering data collection. Dr. Gul furthermore has introduced Electrocure-Meterless smart metering concept to provide low-cost smart metering in developing countries for efficient low-carbon smart metering and reduction of administrative, technical and commercial losses with ability of theft control. He pioneered the concept of auto-load balancing on distribution lines and provided a mechanism for load confinement to ensure reliable electricity supply to core entities in present of highly fluctuating loads and DR ration, in case of green energy generation from MHPs. In last two decades, Dr Gul has obtained research funding of more than 2.5 billions, completed 21 research projects with 5 in progress. He has supervised six PhD and 20 MS researchers, has filed three US and six national patents, published over hundred research articles.
Mr. Gürdoğar SARIGÜL (MSc) has more than 35 years of professional experience in the field of conservation biology, sustainable development, environment, nature protection, Green & Blue Economy, renewable energy, Climate Change and low carbon development. He completed his master’s degree in the University of Kent at Canterbury, on Conservation Biology in 2000. He spent more than 20 years in nature conservation including coastal zone management, marine and coastal protected areas. Furthermore, Mr. Sarıgül has more than 12 years EU Commission services unmatched experiences as task manager for Environment, Sustainable Development and Climate Change. Mr. Sarıgül has led the preparations and implementations of 13 annual programs for Turkey on EU pre-accession financial assistance covering 2001-2020 periods in the field of environment and climate change with a total value of more than 1,6 billion Euros. He is a passionate sailor and amateur boat builder who recently joined NAVTEK Naval Technologies as a senior expert on Climate Change, Sustainable Development and Maritime Decarbonisation expert.
Gurpreet is the Managing Director for ICF in India. He has 22 years of professional experience in energy sector and is an industry-leading expert in oil & gas, hydrogen and renewable energies. Much of Gurpreet’s experience is in consulting, industry and investments. Gurpreet has capabilities in program management, energy planning and modelling, strategic business planning and policy advocacy. He has rich experience in bringing together a wide range of stakeholders for consensus building. He has successfully led consulting engagements for international energy majors, national and regional governments and bilateral and multilateral organisations like World Bank, FCDO, GIZ and others. He has direct experience of working in South Asia UK, Europe, West Africa, Southeast Asia and Russia. Gurpreet holds a Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA in Finance. He is a CFA® Charter holder from CFA Institute, Virginia, USA, and a member of the Indian Association of Investment Professionals.
Mr. Boileau is an experienced Canadian diplomat that has dedicated his career to supporting Canadian business participate in global markets, including through three international postings at Canadian Embassies in Indonesia, Mexico and the Philippines, negotiating free trade agreements, and supporting Canadian firms in their international business development endeavors.
He currently holds the position of Counsellor and Senior Trade Commissioner at the Canadian Embassy to the Philippines. He leads a dynamic team of dedicated Trade Commissioners focused on strengthening bilateral commercial ties through international business development opportunities in key priority sectors for Canada, including clean-technologies and climate finance, infrastructure, mining, ICT, aerospace, agri-food, education, as well as with the Asian Development Bank. Prior to arriving to the Philippines in September 2021, Mr. Boileau was Senior Advisor to the Deputy Minister of International Trade covering trade policy negotiations and dispute settlements, as well as Canada’s trade and investment interests in Asia.
Hadrian is a Manager with Carbon Trust Singapore leading the delivery and growth of the energy practice in the region. He led the delivery of the energy efficiency interventions under the ASEAN Low Carbon Energy Programme having assisted national institutions of Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam. He has gained experience over 9 years across climate and energy policy, low-carbon technology assessments, climate finance, and corporate sustainability. He has experience in policy development and implementation having worked directly with government institutions and private sector. His experience includes working with governments of Lebanon, Mauritius, Eswatini and Indonesia on the design and development of Nationally Determined Contributions.
Han has 30 years’ experience in the energy and power industry. He has broad and significant experience in the power and energy industry, including power systems, energy policy and regulation, renewable energy, smart grid, energy efficiency, demand management and energy efficiency. He has been working for utilities, commercial & industrial users and governments on both strategic advices and program implementation in Asia and the Pacific. Han holds a Ph.D in Power System Engineering and has been engage as a member of the advisory board for the Sustainable Energy Research Centre, Macquarie University.
