He is presently designated as Chief Environmental Management Specialist at the Climate Change Service of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. He is a regular member of the Philippine delegation to the sessions of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the country’s representative to the ASEAN Working Group on Climate Change. He also represents the Philippines at the sessions of the UN Environment Assembly and a member of the Intergovernment Negotiating Committee on the Global Plastics Treaty.
