Mr. Andrew Kautoke is a Senior Manager at Tonga Power Limited (TPL), where he oversees Strategic Planning, Business Development, and the Major Projects department. In his pivotal role, Mr. Kautoke supports the Acting Chief Executive Officer in effectively managing the nation’s renewable energy transition projects. These projects encompass a variety of renewable energy initiatives, including solar and wind energy, as well as network upgrades and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to enhance grid resilience. With Tonga's ambitious goal of achieving 70% renewable energy by 2025, Mr. Kautoke's strategic collaboration with the Asian Development Bank is essential to realizing this vision. His expertise and leadership are critical in driving TPL’s efforts to implement and sustain these transformative energy projects.
