Anna Lobanova

Energy Connectivity Expert,

Ms. Anna Lobanova is a Energy Connectivity Expert in the Energy Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) since 2019. She focuses on regulatory work and energy connectivity projects primarily in Central Asia and the Pacific. Previously, Anna worked at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Fiji, concentrating on resilient energy solutions and disaster risk reduction for the Pacific SIDS. Prior to that she held a position in the Russian Ministry of Energy, where she contributed to the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Anna holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Higher School of Economics, Moscow. Additionally, she is an author and co-author of articles and reports on various economic and sustainable energy development issues.
