Ben Hartley
Principal Specialist,
Sustainable Energy For All (SEforAll)
Ben Hartley is a Principal Energy Efficiency and Cooling Specialist at SEforALL, where he works on the Chilling Prospects report series. His work focuses on the Cooling for All Secretariat as well as energy efficiency in the context of SDG 7.
Ben is a Canadian public policy professional with a background in energy, environment, and sustainable development. Ben has worked at the World Bank, as a consultant with the Climate Change CCSA, and prior to joining SEforALL, he was a political advisor to the Canadian Minister of Environment and Climate Change. Ben has a Master’s degree in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Queen’s University in Canada.
