Dr. Bin Chen has completed his PhD from Peking University, and postdoctoral studies from Peking University and Harvard University. His background is environmental system modelling studies, focusing on interdisciplinary research in the field of energy system engineering and climate change mitigation. He is also the director of Center for Eco-environmental Governance at BNU. He has published more than 300 papers in various journals and has been serving as editor and editorial board member of reputed journals.
