Mr Menzies’ specializes in strategic advisory services and technical support to governments and public sector institutions around promoting and facilitating the low-carbon energy transition. This includes the analysis of energy market regulatory, legal, policy and financial remuneration frameworks and supporting energy ministries in the design and restructuring of the enabling frameworks for renewable energy and electricity markets. He has extensive experience in modelling and quantification of economic and societal benefits of energy and industrial decarbonization, including GHG emissions’ reduction and carbon neutrality. He is a skilled project manager and team leader and is currently Head of the Energy Department in Global Factor, where he manages and oversees international consultancy projects globally. He has wide experience organizing and conducting training and capacity building activities for institutional stakeholders and trainers, and high-level policy dialogues on topics related to climate change and, especially, net zero transition.
