Crissy Godfrey

Crissy Godfrey is a Specialist Leader within Deloitte's Government & Public Services Energy practice, with 22 years in the energy sector. In addition to serving as the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners' Principal Technical Advisor for its 35+ USAID and State Department international programs, Ms. Godfrey is also a former regulator practitioner. As the Director for Energy Analysis Planning at the Maryland Public Service Commission, she oversaw the statewide EmPower Maryland Initiative (aiming to reduce energy and demand 15% by 2015), full scale smart grid deployment, and its Renewable Portfolio Standard. And previous to this role, Ms. Godfrey served in the Governor's energy office developing energy efficiency and renewable energy grant programs, and related policy development. Crissy earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Masters of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy from the Johns Hopkins University. She is also accredited by the Association of Energy Engineers as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
