Derina Man is a Project Leader for the international portfolio at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. She is NREL’s Technical Lead on the Advanced Energy Partnership for Asia, which helps partner governments in Southeast Asia conduct research, analysis, and capacity building to deploy advanced energy systems. She is also providing technical support on a portfolio of projects in Pacific and Caribbean Island nations. Prior to joining NREL, Derina spent a decade working with governmental and commercial clients around the world on various climate change issues, including designing long-term and low-emission development strategies; greenhouse gas accounting and analyses; capacity development and training design; and supporting the phasedown of fluorinated gases.
