Dr. Song, Jaeryoung has worked for National Institute of Green Technology (NIGT) in field of climate technology cooperation globally and it's policy research more than 15 years. He was jointly apponited as a policy fellow at the National Council on Climate and Air Quality (NCCA) under the Presidential office of the Republic of Korea for making international science and technology programs with UN agencies from 2019 to 2022. And he also served the National Research Council of Science & Technology as the head of international cooperation division and research and development (R&D) strategy division from 2014 to 2016. At the present, he is focusing on effective communication on policy making process of climate technologies and innovation platform globally, north-south cooperation research under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and other climate Official Development Assistance. Dr. Song is currently the Chairperson of Climate Change Committee at the Asian Society for Innovation and Policy, an advisory expert of the Green Seoul Citizens' Committee at Seoul Metropolitan Government, and an adjunct professor in division of Media & Contents at Sungkonghoe University in Korea.
