"Euna Shim is a Senior PPP Specialist at ADB, working on various transaction advisory services mandates for infrastructure projects in developing member countries since her joining in OPPP in 2016. Her country and sector exposures are widespread across Southeast Asia, Pacific and Central Asia and include sectors such as renewable energy (e.g., solar, hydro), telecommunication, digital ID, water/wastewater and waste management. She has extensive experience of consulting DMC clients, designing/structuring of PPP transactions and reviewing/negotiating the PPP contracts.
Euna has more than 17 years of experience in financial services industry having work in both public and private entities. Prior to joining ADB, Euna worked at the Korea Development Bank’s Project Finance Department covering overseas infrastructure projects at its Seoul Office and Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and Societe Generale CIB in New York and London as part of the Commodity Investor Products Structuring desks. She also worked at the World Bank in Washington D.C. as a research consultant during her Master’s degree program.
Euna holds a Master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University majoring in Development Economics, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Sogang University majoring in Political Science."
