Evan is the Head of Section – Solar, Energy Systems at DNV based in Singapore. He began his career in design, manufacturing, and sales support of power generation equipment at GE in the United States. He has more than 20 years of experience and has managed large capital-intensive projects as well as led the growth of teams to support the fast-growing solar industry. Within DNV, his team of consultants helps investors, lenders, and project developers find solutions across a variety of project development and construction problems. The teams manage projects that include technical due diligence, EPC tender and selection, factory inspections, engineering design reviews and plant performance analytics. The teams have supported corporate customers from almost all countries in APAC. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various facets of the solar industry in both function and geographic area. As the Technical and Project Director for Yingli Green Energy, he led the growth of the technical team for Southeast Asia leading product service, projects, and sales support teams. At REC Solar in Singapore, he designed, tested, and implemented new PV module products to be manufactured at the GW scale. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® and Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA)®. He received his M.S. Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia (USA).
