Dr. Garima Vats is a Senior Associate at PwC India with a PhD degree in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. She has extensive experience in modelling-based assessments of energy sector decarbonisation strategies, policies and plans at national, sub-national and sectoral levels. Dr. Vats has also analysed co-benefits and trade-offs associated with energy, climate, and resource strategies. She has previously worked with renowned organizations such as The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and the World Resources Institute (WRI), where she advised clients on low-carbon energy policy and decision-making.
