Mr. UMEDA was appointed to the current role in July 2023. Before assuming the current position, he served as a Director General of Robot and Artificial Intelligence Technology Department of New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), where he oversaw NEDO’s R&D programs such as aircraft electrification and social implementation of drones and urban air mobility.
