Mr. Hongpeng Liu, Director, Energy Division, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). Mr Liu is leading the energy team in ESCAP to promote regional cooperation on energy transition in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement and the broader SDG agenda. His work ranges from organizing intergovernmental meetings/policy dialogues, developing knowledge products and providing technical assistance to support member States on sustainable energy development in Asia and the Pacific.
