Mr. Ageel is currently the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, Rep. of Maldives. He is actively involved in planning and development of Energy Sector in the Maldives. Moving into the realm of renewable energy, Mr. Ageel has worked in renewable energy projects playing a key role in advancing renewable energy initiatives working towards the integration of sustainable energy sources into the national grid. These experiences have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the energy sector, from traditional utilities to cutting-edge renewable technologies, shaping him into a versatile and knowledgeable professional. Mr. Ageel is recognized for his leadership and commitment to sustainability.
