Hyunjung Lee is the Asian Development Bank’s GMS/ASEAN Energy Program Lead and Energy Sector Focal for Viet Nam. She is currently spearheading a regional energy cooperation initiative across Southeast Asia, such as ASEAN Power Grid, (APG), the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) energy transition task force (ETTF), and the ASEAN-ADB Energy Dialogue. Additionally, she serves as an energy sector focal for Viet Nam operation, focused on ADB’s support for the country’s energy transition. She is also a co-team leader for Papua New Guinea's sustainable energy sector development program. Her expertise spans various aspects of energy transition and regional cooperation, including policy and regulatory design, investment and financing arrangements, and technical assistance provision.
