Kira Rosi-Schumacher

Kira is a Manager with Deloitte Consulting with professional experience delivering strategy, finance, and supply chain solutions across emerging economies in Asia and Africa. She has a track record of successfully managing complex, multi-million-dollar projects for international clients with a focus in clean energy, natural resource management (including water), energy planning (including IRP), modern energy transition, and power and water project development. Kira is also an ardent leader in the areas of women’s economic empowerment, leadership, and diversity, equity, and inclusion in the energy sector. She is currently the Deputy Chief of Party of USAID Urja Nepal, where she provides technical and overall program direction focused on renewable energy deployment and inclusive sector growth. Throughout her career, she has also been recognized as an effective mentor and collaborator. She is fluent in French and holds a Master’s in International Economics (Sciences Po Paris) and a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Fordham University).
