Natsuko Toba

International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group
Natsuko Toba has over 20 years of professional experience in (i) investment projects and (ii) policy, regulation, technical assistance, research, analysis and evaluation at the Word Bank Group (WBG) and Asian Development Bank. Natsuko is currently an Economist at International Finance Corporation of WBG and was a Senior Economist at World Bank. Natsuko’s work experience covers developing countries of all regions. Natsuko is an Associate Researcher of the Energy Policy Research Group of the University of Cambridge where she obtained her PhD in Economics. Natsuko’s interests are competition, regulations, liberalization, private participation, privatization and market and sector reforms of the infrastructure sector especially the energy sector, the integration of climate change, biodiversity and the other biotic and abiotic factors (our planet), and equality, equity and fairness (justice).
