Peerapat is a Principal Consultant at DNV – Energy Systems APAC region, where he leads technical and business advisory projects on electricity markets and energy transition in Asia-Pacific. His experience covers technical, economic, policy and regulatory disciplines with projects in many regions including Australia, China, India, Thailand, Indonesia and ASEAN. Prior to joining DNV, he was a Lead Analyst at the IEA where he led the work on RE integration and electricity security in many regions. He has actively engaged with policy makers and key stakeholders to support clean energy transitions. His previous roles include a researcher and a private consultant with projects to support the integration of renewables in the Australian National Electricity Market. He also worked for Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) in power system operation and planning, PPA and cross-border power trade. Peerapat holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
