Dr Tamaryn Napp is an Senior Policy Advisor in the UK Government Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) working on international clean growth and sharing UK expertise to support other countries in raising and delivering their climate ambition. She joined BEIS, in May 2019 after 9 years working in the field of climate change mitigation as an academic at the Grantham Institute, Imperial College London. She is an expert in Energy Systems Modelling and her research focussed on the technologies, costs and policies for mitigating climate change. Tamaryn holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
