Tika Limbu is a Principal Energy Specialist with Sector Group (South Asia Energy) in ADB. He has over 34 years of experience in operations of electricity utilities, energy sector development, and administration and management of infrastructure projects. He joined ADB in 2010 and has extensively worked in energy sector in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Prior to ADB, Mr. Limbu has over 20 years of experiences in Nepal Electricity Authority and Ergon Energy Corporation (both are Government undertakings in Nepal and Australia) and private sector in Australia. Mr. Limbu graduated in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (India), and obtained his master’s in energy economics and planning from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, and PhD from the University of Queensland, Australia. Mr. Limbu is a registered Professional Engineer.
