Ms. Tsolmon Namkhainyam has over 18 years of experience designing and managing projects a variety of technical projects, with more focus on sustainable energy and climate change mitigation. She served as technical expert for three winning proposals, on clean energy and climate action, including Mongolian Government funded pilot project valued at $0.25m to replace coal boilers with ground-source heat pumps.
Her work has included engaging the government and development partners for climate action, innovative heating and reduce urban air pollution. Ms. Tsolmon's contributions to Mongolia's sustainable energy development also include supporting the development of various national policy documents, such as Nationally Determined Contributions and National Energy Efficiency Action Plans of Mongolia.
Ms. Tsolmon co-authored publication on ‘Development of Green Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency in Mongolia’ and co-author of 'Energy Efficiency and Green Technologies' book in Mongolian. Also, she contributed to CCAC work on integrated actions on air pollution and climate change in Mongolia.
