Mr Ugyen Rinzin works for the Department of Energy under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Royal Government of Bhutan. He has been working in the field of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for the past 4 and half years. He has carried out several Energy Efficiency projects including the energy audits for the industry, project on E-mobility and currently carrying out a project on E-cooking solutions in Bhutan. In the field of Renewable Energy, he has carried out projects for offgrid solar in the remotest parts of the country and currently pursuing another offgrid solar project in the country. Apart from this he has also contributed in developing the Bhutan Energy Data Directory 2022 for Bhutan and Low Emission Development Strategies for the Human Settlement which was an input to the second NDC for Bhutan.
