A 90-minute session called “ADB on the Ground” first launched back in 2018 was a huge success highlighting innovative and successful ADB projects that have made a deep and lasting impact across Asia.

For ACEF 2024, continuing well established platform to disseminate the information and knowledge on ADB’s efforts, we are implementing a substantial shift in our approach to technical discussions, aligning with the cross-cutting methodology outlined in ADB's Strategy 2030. The ADB on the Ground Session for this year will be called “ADB on the Ground: The Green Energy Transformation" and will focus on projects from various ADB Sectors aligned with the forum agenda. For this session, participants will get a high-level overview of the ADB’s efforts followed by rotating “World Cafe” presentations from ADB staff.

The event format will be as follows:

1. Participants will sit down at one of the tables in the room.
2. Participants will spend 15 minutes per round (8 rounds in total) at a table learning about a specific ADB project.
3. After the round ends, a next round will be announced, and participants will have 5 minutes to rotate to another table of their choice.
