David has over 25 years of energy sector experience in the sustainability and climate change fields, working in both the public and private sectors. His expertise spans innovation, infrastructure, finance, policy, and analysis. Throughout his career, David has successfully funded and directly deployed projects through partnerships with numerous companies, governments, NGOs, financial institutions, and other stakeholders in developing and developed countries.As a skilled engineer and communicator, David has promoted sustainable technology for impactful results in over 50 countries. His work has significantly contributed to advancing sustainability and addressing climate change on a global scale.David is a Principal Energy Specialist (Climate Change) at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Over the last eight years he has been responsible for overseeing various initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable technology and addressing climate change. Currently he is part of the Energy Transition Mechanism and Partnerships team, where he leads the ADB's Energy Transition Mechanism activities across the region.
