Dr Priyantha D C Wijayatunga graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Moratuwa specializing in Electrical Engineering. In 1992, he obtained a PhD in Power Economics from Imperial College, London where he held the prestigious Beit Scientific Research Fellowship for doctoral studies.
