Dr. Song, Jaeryoung has worked for National Institute of Green Technology (NIGT) in field of climate technology cooperation globally and it's policy research more than 15 years. He was jointly apponited as a policy fellow at the National Council on Climate and Air Quality (NCCA) under the Presidential office of the Republic of Korea for making international science and technology programs with UN agencies from 2019 to 2022. And he also served the National Research Council of Science & Technology as the head of international cooperation division and research and development (R&D) strategy division from 2014 to 2016. At the present, he is focusing on effective communication on policy making process of climate technologies and innovation platform globally, north-south cooperation research under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and other climate Official Development Assistance. Dr. Song is currently the Chairperson of Climate Change Committee at the Asian Society for Innovation and Policy, an advisory expert of the Green Seoul Citizens' Committee at Seoul Metropolitan Government, and an adjunct professor in division of Media & Contents at Sungkonghoe University in Korea.

Professor Jyoti K Parikh is Executive Director of Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe), New Delhi. She was a Member of the Prime Minister’s Council on Climate Change –India and is a recipient of Nobel Peace Prize awarded to IPCC authors in 2007. She served as the senior professor and Acting Director of Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai 1986-03. IIASA, Austria for 8 years (1980-86, 76-78) and Planning Commission, as senior energy consultant at New Delhi (1978-80). She has served as energy consultant to the World Bank, the U.S. Department of Energy, EEC, Brussels and UN agencies such as UNIDO, FAO, UNU, and UNESCO, Environment Consultant to UNDP, World Bank and so on. She worked as an advisor to various ministries for Gov. of India She obtained her M.Sc. from University of California, Berkeley, in 1964 and Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from University of Maryland, College Park in 1967. She has guided 12 Ph.D. theses in energy, environment and climate change and given lectures in more than 40 countries around the world. Publications include nearly 200 project research papers and 25 books and monographs in the area of energy economics, climate change and modeling, energy technology assessment, rural energy, power sector, environment economics, natural resource management and climate change. She has guided Sixteen Ph.D./Masters theses in energy, environment and climate change area and given lectures in more than 40 countries around the world. The topics ranged from vulnerability and adaptation of agriculture, forestry, power sector, construction sector, and carbon emission baselines for power, transport, cement and steel sector. Datuk Dr. Mohd Nor Azman Hassan is currently the Deputy Secretary General (Technology Development) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. He oversees the policies and development of science, technology and innovation ecosystem as the catalyst for socio-economic development of the country. His previous positions were in the areas of higher education, power sector and technological development including industrial related technologies, such as renewable energy, advanced materials and manufacturing, biotechnology (including vaccine development strategy) and nanotechnology. He had extensive engagements with the industry including the start- ups and SMEs, in particular to communicate government’s policies and programmes relating to STI. Datuk Dr. Azman holds a doctoral degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA in the field of renewable energy technology and is trained in conducting Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). He is also a registered Professional Technologist (Green Technology) with the Malaysian Board of Technologist.

Dr. Mridula Dixit Bharadwaj is a Capacity Building Specialist at the International Solar Alliance under ADB-ISA Technical Assistance Program. She is currently coordinating ISA Programs related to Green Hydrogen, Solar Electric Mobility, and Storage. Dr. Bharadwaj holds a Post Doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, USA, and a doctorate in rechargeable battery systems from Bangalore University. She has more than 28 years of research experience in batteries, EV and materials science domains. Some of the academic recognitions include the Best Research Paper Award in the Material Science Category by the Microscopy Society of America. Prior to ISA, she worked with the United States Steel Corporation, General Motors (R&D), and a technology-policy think tank as lead researcher and Section Head. She led the Indian side for Solar Energy Integration, one of the three main verticals of The Solar Energy Research Institute for India and the United States— a five-year DST-DoE joint program. She has participated in several government committees on EV and storage including National Rare Earth Expert Committee of NITI Aayog, India. Dr. Bharadwaj has several research publications in international journals including a US patent related to automotive corrosion prevention.

Dr. Nanda Kumar Janardhanan is Research Manager - Climate and Energy and South Asia Regional Coordinator at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), Japan. His research interest includes technology co-innovation, critical minerals, energy and climate policy, hydrogen and air pollution. Dr Janardhanan has about two decades of experience in policy research, market research and academia.

Dr. Prasanna Rao Dontula has worked in diverse clean technology and enabling areas such as membranes, effluent and process water treatment, and energy efficiency. Since 2011, he has led the Technology and Product Development activities at A.T.E. Enterprises Private Limited in India. Prior to A.T.E., Prasanna held multiple roles with Unilever and General Electric. A.T.E.’s focus over the last fifteen years has been energy and the environment. It develops innovative products and solutions such as comfort conditioners, heat exchangers, solar thermal concentrators and effluent treatment plants for application in diverse industries. A.T.E.'s sustainable cooling product based on its proprietary indirect evaporative cooling technology was a Finalist in the Global Cooling Prize. A.T.E. is also piloting its technology as part of IFC's TechEmerge programme on Sustainable Cooling in Latin America.

Dr. Reihana Mohideen is an electrical engineer leading the work on the clean energy transition towards sustainable systems, integrating gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), at the Nossal Institute for Global Health and the Climate CATCH Lab, at The University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research analyses advanced technology trends in the low-carbon energy transition in developing countries with specific applications to South Asia, as well as the opportunities to simultaneously leapfrog technology and social equity gaps. She completed both a BEng degree in electrical engineering (1981) and her postdoctoral studies in renewable energy systems in Asia at The University of Melbourne (2015). She has worked in international development for more than ten years. Reihana Chairs the IEEE Standards Association Workstream on Gender Equality and Social inclusion and she is an Executive Committee member of IEEE Standards Association on Digital Inclusion (DIITA).

Dr Romeo Pacudan is a Technical Director at Ricardo Clean Energy and Environmental Solutions (CE&ES). He is taking the technical lead in energy sector projects and at the same time responsible for Ricardo’s energy sector business development in Asia and the Pacific region. He has more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector in Asia Pacific and Europe. He is currently one of the key experts providing support to Indonesia’s UK-Mentari Programme assessing green hydrogen as an option for PLN’s diesel replacement programme and providing MEMR support in preparing its hydrogen strategy and roadmap. Romeo Pacudan was one of the experts who carried out the study ‘Brunei Darussalam: Shifting to Hydrogen Society’ in 2019.

Dr. Srestha Banerjee is the Director of Just Transition at the International Forum for Environment, Sustainability and Technology (iFOREST). She holds a PhD in Environmental and Energy Policy from the University of Delaware (USA), and a Masters in Environmental Studies from Ohio University (USA). A public policy expert, she has worked with Indian and US-based environmental and public policy think tanks over the past 15 years. Her current areas of work include just transition and climate change, mining and benefit sharing, environmental justice and participatory governance. She has also been associated with various global just transition initiatives, including as advisory member of the Just Transition Initiative and the Transformational Change Learning Partnership of the Climate Investment Funds. She is also closely working with the Sustainable Just Transition Taskforce, the first sub-national Task Force set up by the Government of Jharkhand, India.

Durga Nanda Bariyait, Director, Grid Development Department of Nepal Electricity Authority was born on 30th November, 1971 in Sarshwar Village of Saptari district in Nepal. He completed his B.E. (Electrical Engineering) in 1998 and M.Sc. (Power System Engineering) in 2004 from Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Nepal and EMBA from Ace Institute of Management, Nepal in 2015. He joined Nepal Electricity Authority in December 2003 as an Electrical Engineer and started his carrier in planning, power purchase and trade. He has previously worked as the Project Manager in 400 and 132 kV transmission line projects and as the Director in Corporate Planning and Monitoring Department. Presently, he is working as Director in Grid Development Department. His major responsibility as the Director of Grid Development Department is to construct new 132 transmission lines and substations and conductor upgrading works of 66 kV and 132 kV voltage level across the country to enhance the supply reliability, meet electricity demand and power evacuation of generating stations. He is responsible for monitoring and supervising more than thirty five undergoing transmission projects in the country. He has visited China, Philippines, Thailand, India, Pakistan and USA during executing his responsibilities. He is a Member of the Nepal Engineers’ Association and Society of Electrical Engineers’ Nepal.

Dynah is a wife and mother of 2 sons. She met husband while studying her MBA at University of Texas at Dallas. Her first son was born when she was a first year PhD student at the University of Texas at Arlington and her second son when she was a faculty member at the University of Auckland Business School. Indeed, Dynah enjoys living and traveling to different countries with her family. Apart from spending time with her family, Dynah is a full-time teacher and scholar for the past 20 years. Currently, she is a full-time professor at the Asian Institute of Management and the Executive Director of the Ramon V. Del Rosario Sr. Center for Corporate Responsibility. Her research, published and cited over 1100 times (according to Google Scholar), covers strategic human capital or HR management on international labor standards, gender, downsizing, governance, and the effect of board characteristics on firm performance.

Ms. Eden Uchel is an experienced professional with a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Environmental Health from the University of New South Wales. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Public Health and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology. Ms. Uchel has held various positions and is currently the Director of the Palau Energy & Water Administration (PEWA) within Palau’s Ministry of Finance. She was a Manager of Projects & Quality Improvement at Surangel & Sons Company, which is the biggest Project Development business in Palau, and she also held the role as an Acting Chief and Senior Environmental Health Officer at the Division of Environmental Health within the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Palau. She has extensive experience in governing the board of public utilities in Palau for nearly ten years and has an environmental compliance background that adds to her skills in public administration and health management roles.
