Aaron Bouchane is the Country Director for People in Need in Cambodia and Laos, where he leads multidisciplinary teams delivering climate resilience and vocational training programs. His portfolio includes scaling clean energy technologies in the agri-fishery sector, deploying early warning systems to mitigate flood impacts, and advancing private sector-led technical and vocational education and training (TVET) initiatives.With over a decade of international development experience across North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, Aaron specializes in renewable energy, waste management, and workforce development. He has designed and implemented large-scale training programs for major private sector clients in the commercial construction and advanced manufacturing industries.Aaron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from The Ohio State University and a Master’s degree from Clark University’s School of International Development, Community, and Environment
