Andrew is Director of Energy Transition at the Carbon Trust, providing innovation, strategy and policy advisory services for businesses and governments internationally. Andrew leads the global energy transition practice with offices in Mexico, London, Berlin, Johannesburg and Singapore.Andrew is an expert in systems thinking and applies this to support new approaches and innovation in fossil transition, grid development, renewable energy integration, energy storage, energy flexibility, local energy systems, consumer engagement.Andrew has held senior leadership positions in the private sector across Europe, working with E.ON he developed the UK generation strategy, its energy services business and managed the European retail innovation portfolio.Andrew holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, an MSc in Energy & Environmental Systems and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Strathclyde University in Glasgow.
