Anna Lobanova

Sustianable Energy Specialist,
United Nationals Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific

Ms. Anna Lobanova is a Specialist on Sustainable Energy in the Energy Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) since 2019. She focuses on energy connectivity and energy efficiency including the development of cooling sector in Asia and the Pacific. Previously, Anna worked at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Fiji, concentrating on resilient energy solutions and disaster risk reduction for the Pacific SIDS. Prior to that she held a position in the Russian Ministry of Energy, where she contributed to the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Anna holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Higher School of Economics, Moscow. Additionally, she is an author and co-author of articles and reports on various economic and sustainable energy development issues.
