Ekaterina Florez is a Senior Consultant and Business Lead for APAC with over 14 years experience in the energy sector. Ekaterina provides expert advice to key industry stakeholders on navigating the energy transition, helping them shape their business strategies and opportunities. Her expertise centers on the dynamic interplay between market forces, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements, which she leverages to guide strategic planning and risk management.Ekaterina also has extensive experience in modelling and analysis the energy market, especially in the areas of market design and asset valuation. The assessment of these aspects includes an understanding of the development of commodity prices, national policies, conventional and renewable capacity, demand development and resulting electricity prices. Prior to her current role Ekaterina served as the Market Valuation Lead for DNV’s Energy Markets and Strategy division in Northern Europe, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this role, she led numerous asset valuation and investment decision initiatives within the European power market.
