Giovanna Franca

Giovanna Franca is driven by a career goal of creating positive impact. With experience across think tanks, NGOs, the private sector, and international organizations, she brings a unique perspective that bridges academia and industry to design strategies addressing today’s most pressing global challenges. Her work focuses on advancing the energy transition by translating applied research into policymaking and promoting advocacy and awareness, particularly through youth empowerment. She currently serves as a Project Associate at the Accelerate to Demonstrate Facility within UNIDO. Giovanna holds a Master’s degree in Global Studies with a focus on climate adaptation in the Global South, earned through the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Degree program between the University of Vienna and the University of Wrocław. Her academic background includes studies in international relations at Sciences Po Lyon and the University of São Paulo, and a specialization in humanitarian crisis management at the école of the Institut de Relations Internationales et Stratégiques in Paris.
