Katherine Guy

Senior Infrastructure Finance Specialist,
Asian Development Bank

Katherine is a Senior Infrastructure Finance Specialist in the Green Finance Hub of the Southeast Asia Department at ADB's Headquarters in Manila, the Philippines. She supports early project identification and conceptualization for ‘green’ projects across ADB’s sectors in ASEAN countries, as well as supporting sector teams to ‘green’ projects and identify concessional financing opportunities under the ASEAN Catalytic Green Financing Facility. Katherine is currently leading activities in ebuses, air quality and green and resilient ports. Katherine seeks opportunities in her work to incorporate innovation, address climate change adaptation and mitigation, and collaborate with development partners and the private sector. Prior to joining the Green Finance Hub, Katherine was based at the Pacific Subregional Office in Suva, Fiji from 2019 to 2024. She supported development and implementation of infrastructure projects across multiple sectors in the south Pacific as well as policy dialogue and capacity development. Previously, she supported sustainable transport development in the People's Republic of China and Mongolia from ADB's Headquarters in Manila. Katherine has also worked in consulting in Vietnam and Canada. She holds a Master’s in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor’s in Geography from the University of Victoria.
