Low Kian Min was officially appointed the Chief Renewables Officer of Gentari witheffect from May 2, 2023. Kian Min has broad experience in the energy space withmore than two decades spent in the power generation industry - beginning in thelegal department before spreading his wings into business development in traditionaland renewable energy segments.Kicking off in Australia, Kian Min’s career has taken him across the Asia Pacific, wherehe was most recently the Chief Development Officer for JERA Asia, leading its marketentry into Bangladesh and its first renewables investment in Vietnam. His careermoves also saw him leading Sembcorp Industries’ group business development teamfor ASEAN and heading Indonesia’s largest independent power producer PT PaitonEnergy. He has also held various roles in Engie (formerly International Power) andwas briefly a lecturer at the Australian National University.Kian Min holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Bachelor ofCommerce (majoring in Accounting) from the Australian National University. He is anAdvocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and Solicitor of the Supreme Courtof England and Wales.
