Min Bikram Malla is a senior energy and development expert with over 24 years of experience promoting clean energy access, inclusive innovation, and climate resilience in Nepal. As Thematic Lead – Energy at Practical Action South Asia, he leads projects on electric cooking, energy efficiency, and productive energy use in agriculture and climate adaptation. He has played a key role in advancing electric cooking adoption among disadvantaged communities through market-based and gender-inclusive approaches. Min has contributed to over 18 research studies and authored peer-reviewed publications on cookstoves, energy access, and indoor air pollution. He holds an MPhil in Economics and brings deep expertise in project design, climate policy, and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
