Mr. Mohamed Arif is a years Of experience spanning electrical systems engineering, renewable energy, utility operations, and institutional leadership. Currently serving as the Deputy Managing Director OF Fenaka Corporation Limited-the largest utilit service provider in the Maldives. leads strategic initiatives to modernize and expand energy and infrastructure services across more than 152 inhabited islands. Throughout his career, he has held high- impact roles in both the civilian and defense sectors, including Unit Head of Research and Development in the Renewable Energ Department and, Electrical Instrumentation and Control Engineer at STELCO, and Project Engineer at Magnetron Maldives Pvt Ltd. Within the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), he was appointed to key leadership positions such as Deputy Commander of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Division, Head of Faculty at the Officer Training Wing, and Deputy ommander of Communication Electronics and IT Services (MNDF) has led aumerous national-level infrastructure initiatives, including the deployment of hybrid diesel-solar-battery systems, high-voltage interconnection networks, island-wide water and sewerage systems, and automation of power generation facilities. He also played a key technical pole in the 17th SAARC Summit. His leadership at Fenaka continues to emphasize innovation, sustainable energy solutions, institutional development, and operational excellence in delivering essential public services throughout the Maldiv
