In addition to consulting Stewart's work includes 10 years in International Organisations (UNDP and SPREP) in the Western Balkans and the Pacific, 10 Years in the NSW Environmental Protection Authority (Chemicals, Contaminated Sites, Waste and Industry) and additional work in the Royal Australian Airforce (RAAF) , Local Government (Waste & Contaminated Sites) and Non Government Organisations,Skilled in Corporate Social Responsibility, Circular Economy, Natural Resource Management, Waste (including marine plastics, hazardous and healthcare waste) Contaminated Sites, Chemicals and Mining Management and Policy Analysis. Strong consulting professional with a Masters and Bachelors degrees in Science and Postgraduate qualifications focused on International Environmental Law. He is an inaugural member of the ANZPAC Plastic Pact.His international project portfolio includes the ADB TAs in the Pacific (Waste and Recycling), ADB (PRIF) Regional Recycling Hub Scoping Study for the Pacific, IUCN Plastic Waste Free Islands (PWFI) MTR for the Caribbean & Pacific, ProBlue Marine Plastics (Caribbean OECS), Common Seas Clean Blue (Maldives), DFAT Strongim Bisnis waste value chain project (Solomon Islands), Banana Hands Clean Oceans Project (Solomons), World Bank Healthcare Waste Project (Samoa), DFID Plastic Reduction Project (Vanuatu), NZ MFAT MTR Review of the Solid Waste Program (Kiribati), DEFRA/CEFAS Commonwealth Marine Litter Programme (CLiP - Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Belize, South Africa), UNDP MTR Review POPs (Pakistan), the European Union (EU) Pacific Hazardous Waste Management Project (PacWaste - 15 Pacific Island Countries) as well as development of the PacWaste Plus Project (15 Pacific Island Countries), UNDP EnvSec Projects ( 7 Western Balkans Countries ) and UNDP Western Balkans Environmental Program with an overall value of USD 80 million.
