Zviad Gachechiladze is the Director of Organized Markets Development and Electricity Accounting at JSC Georgian State Electrosystem, appointed in 2022. With a background in energy regulation and electricity market development, he previously held senior roles at the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission from 2014 to 2022, and served as a counsellor to Deloitte Consulting. He has extensive international project experience, including positions with the Energy Union, European Regulatory Council, and UNDP, and has been involved with various consulting and academic institutions. Zviad holds a doctorate from the Technical University of Georgia, where he also taught as an associate professor, and has authored numerous scientific publications and participated in over 50 international training conferences.
