A speaker from Amazon Web Services will describe how cloud computing is driving innovation across the energy value chain, and how cloud services enable operational excellence, improve energy equity, and facilitate climate action by electric utilities. A speaker from the India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF) will showcase pilot projects on peer-to-peer trading of solar energy conducted by the ISGF in collaboration with Powerledger Australia. He will also describe groundbreaking regulations issued by the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission that mandate the scaling up of peer-to-peer trading across the state. Finally, a speaker from Ocean Pixel will describe the digital tools and technologies being used in various stages of energy projects, and will also explain specific applications of data science and AI in the power and energy sector in different regions, such as the Maldives, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
