Kyle Datta is Executive Director, Pacific Region with Teneo, recognized for his energy and agriculture experience. Kyle brings two decades of C-level experience in management consulting, impact investing, renewable energy, corporate strategy and food system investing.
Kyle’s previous executive roles include Founder and General Partner of the investing firm Ulupono Initiative, CEO of U.S. Biodiesel Group, Managing Director of Rocky Mountain Institute, Vice President at Booz Allen & Hamilton, where he was the leader of the U.S. Utility Practice, leader of the Asia Energy Practice, and leader of the Commercial Environmental Practice and Director at Roland Berger.Kyle’s board roles have included the Board of PREPA Transformation Advisory Council, Finance Chair the Board for the Blue Planet Foundation, the Board of the American Sustainable Business Council, Co-Chair the Sustainable Agriculture and Food System Funders, the Parker Ranch Board, and the Hawaii Ulu Cooperative Board Chairman.Kyle has a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Economics and Master’s of Public and Private Management from Yale University. He’s contributed to the publications, Winning the Oil End Game and Small is Profitable.
