Yun Zhou is the Country Operations Head for the People's Republic of China at ADB. In this role, she supports the implementation of ADB’s strategic priorities in the PRC, oversees project design and execution, and coordinates the collaboration with government agencies and other key stakeholders. Dr. Zhou holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Beijing Normal University and has over 30 years of professional experience, including 10 years at ADB. She joined ADB in January 2015 as an Environment Specialist. Prior to ADB, she was Director of the International Cooperation Center at the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment’s leading research and policy advisory body.
