Mr. Ivan Pekaea currently serves as the Acting Chief Technical Officer of PNG Power Limited, a role he assumed in May 2024. With over 20 years of dedicated service, Mr. Pekaea’s career with PNG Power began in 2005 as an Engineer in the company’s Graduate Development Program.​ Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles across operational divisions, demonstrating deep technical expertise and a strong commitment to utility service excellence. In the past five years, Mr.Pekaea has also played a pivotal role in delivering major donor-funded infrastructure and energy projects.​
