Preeti Kumari is a Senior Program Associate with the Energy Program at WRI India. She works on advancing access to renewable energy through research and implementation, with a focus on unlocking financing and scaling pathways for renewable energy adoption. Preeti brings over 6+ years of experience in the Decentralized Renewable Energy sector in various capacities. She is skilled in project management, data collection, research, M&E, business, and financial model development in the agriculture and allied sectors. In her past roles, she has worked with clean energy startups and has been involved in site selection, project planning, fundraising, and market linkage identification for the deployment of solar-powered energy services for households, enterprise, and in the agriculture and allied sectors. She has obtained Masters's in Ecology & Environment Studies from Nalanda University, India. She is based out of the Bangalore office, India, and can be reached at preeti.kumari@wri.org
