Christoph Luerssen is Power System Transformation Lead at GIZ Indonesia, working in close collaboration with government institutions and the state utility PLN. His work focuses on enabling large-scale renewable energy deployment through improvements in power system planning, procurement frameworks, and grid integration practices. He has extensive experience across Southeast Asia, including advisory roles in Vietnam on rooftop solar and grid integration, and hands-on project development experience in Indonesia. Christoph holds a PhD from the National University of Singapore, with research on energy storage and solar PV applications.
