She is a professional in the field of electrical engineering and renewable energy. In 2021, she served as a program officer for the Department of Production and Renewable Energy, focusing on Solar project. She has experience in project coordination, environmental compliance and interaction with regulators. As a woman in engineering and the energy sector, which is still male-dominated, she sees challenges not a obstacle but as opportunities for growth. For Lizete, energy is not just electricity but energy is the hope and future of Timor-Leste.
