Masataka is President of Tokyo Gas Philippines and Director of Prime Midstream Solutions, where he manages LNG receiving and regasification businesses and leads business development in the Philippines. He previously held senior leadership roles in Indonesia, including with Panji Raya Alamindo, PT Energasindo Heksa Karya, and PT Artha Prima Energy, focusing on commercial strategy, gas distribution, biogas business development, corporate governance, and strategic investment decisions. Before this, Masataka served as Vice President of Tokyo Gas America Ltd. in Houston, where he led business development for LNG, shale gas, and biogas projects across North America. He also worked with Tokyo Gas Australia Pty Ltd. in Perth, managing upstream gas assets and LNG projects. He began his career with Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. in 1996.
