Anil Kumar Choudhary is Chief General Manager and Head Operations at Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), Ministry of Power, Government of India, where he leads projects, sustainability, and quality. He has over 29 years of experience across energy efficiency, power distribution, power reforms, industrial systems, cooling, clean technology, automation, quality, and large-scale programme implementation. He previously worked with MECON, a Central Public Sector Unit under the Ministry of Steel, for 23 years and has been with EESL for six years. His work spans India and international markets, with experience in cross-sector coordination and stakeholder engagement for scaling pan-India programmes. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, a Master’s in Business Law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and has completed a Sustainable Finance programme from IIM Ahmedabad. He also serves in several advisory, evaluation, and mentoring roles related to energy management, clean technology, sustainability, and energy conservation.
